Where do in-person groups take place?

Do I need to purchase books?
No, the cost of books is included in the tuition for the session and we will provide the necessary materials.
Do I need to have a piano or keyboard?
If you are taking piano training, then yes, you need to have a piano or keyboard. Keyboards need to be a full 88 keys and be weighted keys meaning that when pressed harder the sound is louder. Keyboards should sit on a stand for the keyboard (not a table or desk) and the student should sit on an adjustable stool so that the hand, forearm positioning is optimal.
How do I submit my video for the weekly check in?
Videos should be submitted to your teacher, Renee Delescavage, through the chat feature in the Teacherzone app
Where can I find my assignment?
Assignments can be found in the teacherzone app. It is one of the 4 icons at the bottom of the app.
How do I pay for my session?
The tuition for the session may be paid in full or you can choose to make monthly installments. Within your teacherzone account you can enter your debit card or credit card number and inform Renee as to which payment you prefer: pay in full or monthly installments. Monthly installments will be automatically debited on the 1st of each month for the duration of the session you are enrolled in.
What if I miss a live instruction session?
You can rewatch the recorded group session video. You will also have access to the session assignment which will review the content of the group session. There will not be make-ups scheduled for missed live instruction.
When will I receive video feedback after I have submitted my check-in video?
If you submit your video on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, you will receive your video feedback the next day. If you submit your video on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will receive your video feedback on the following Monday.
Are recitals mandatory?
It is the goal of Renee’s Music Studio to provide performance opportunities for students to have a goal to work towards and grow in their performance skills. It is normal to be nervous for a performance, and the more you perform the easier it can be. Participation in recitals is greatly encouraged and is there for each student’s development and optimal experience in the program.
Do you offer training for adults?
Yes, there is a voice coaching program for women 18+. Information for the women’s voice coaching program can be found here www.reneedelvoice.com
